Tasectan® is formulated to control and reduce the symptoms associated with diarrhoea. It is usually effective within 12 hours and is safe to use in adults, children and infants. It is available in an adult pack of 8 capsules and the children’s pack is in sachets of 10. By adding water to the children’s dosage, not only is the diarrhoea treated safely but the child becomes more hydrated which is very important.
Tasectan® capsules are a combination medicine that contains gelatin tannate. The gelatin tannate in these capsules are a gelatin and tannic acid complex compound.
While Tasectan® Adult can’t be used for babies and children, Tasectan® Paed is clinically proven to be a safe and effective anti-diarrhoea treatment for children aged between 3 months and 14 years.
